Behind the Magic Door is a unique baby sensory room and sensory party company located in the picturesque North East of England. Our mission is to craft a vibrant, calming, and stimulating environment that captivates adults and provides a beneficial sensory experience for babies, toddlers, and individuals with special needs.

We offer dedicated slots for pre-walking babies, ensuring a gentle environment among peers, as well as open and private slots for mixed ages.

Nestled amidst the stunning Northumberland countryside, our sensory space brings the beauty of nature indoors. Step into our enchanting artificial jungle, complete with lifelike artificial grass, a jungle wall, and a state-of-the-art, realistic tree. Our sensory room features an array of engaging elements, including fibre optics, a bubble tube, soft play and ball pit, sensory toys, and more.

What do we offer?

Our venue is equipped to provide an experience like no other. Enter our lifelike Jungle and immerse in the atmosphere. We provide a sensory experience like no other, and is accessible for as little as £8 per ticket!

We offer our open slots which host upto 6 little guests per slot, allowing for a socialable experience, but also a comfortable experience that allows your to access all our sensory features. These slots are hourly, and can be booked for just £8 per little guest.

If you would prefer a more exclusive experience, you can opt for our private sensory room experience, where you will have our whole sensory venue to yourself for as many hours as you would like. This is available for £40 per hour.

We also offer our sensory room parties, which are available for private hire for 1 hour for just £40, with the option to add additional extras for a further cost. For information on these add-ons, please get in touch.
